You need to convert your DVD and video to mp4 video, then you can add it to your iTunes library, plug in your iPod to computer and sync your iPod with iTunes, that’s all. If you need detailed info, here is a step by step guide for you, it’s easy to understand and works pretty well for me

Some discs come with a digital copy on them, “Mostly Blueray discs” You can upload them to your iTunes directory and sync it.
You’ll need to convert it to H.264 MP4 format, using 320×240 res and a fps under 30, Audio codec needs to be MPAA.(Apple Audio)
